Wethersfield Cooperative Nursery School was establish 50 years ago, by families in Wethersfield, to prepare young children for school. Come join in on the tradition. 

PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS: 

The Wethersfield Cooperative Nursery School adheres to a developmental age appropriate philosophy.  Our program is geared to promote fine and gross motor skills, social and emotional skills, language skills, cognitive skills and increased attention skills.   While promoting these skills in a creative setting, using a variety of materials, we hope to instill in our children a love for school and learning, respect for others, and self confidence in their abilities.  Parent participation is a key element of the cooperative nursery school experience.  Parents experience their child’s progress first hand by observing and participating in the classroom activities.
